PSAI Mentorship Program
PSAI’s mentorship program is created to increase the value of your PSAI membership through professional growth and engagement while creating meaningful connections with your peers.
As a Mentor, you receive the opportunity to:
- Actively support & volunteer with your Association,
- Share best practices that help elevate the public’s perception of portable sanitation,
- Increase your own network of support for industry-specific issues and questions,
- Support a new or growing business with qualified information they need and sometimes information they may not even know they can use,
- Learn about issues that are shared with operators in other geographic areas and how to solve unique regional/local challenges.
As a Mentee, you receive the opportunity to:
- Improve what you do,
- Learn ways to maximize things like profit margins and handle growth,
- Have someone available as a resource for candid questions,
- Have a coach for best practices that help elevate the perception of the industry,
- Learn how to add value to your service,
- Make a meaningful connection with your peers.
PSAI’s mentorship is open to Operator members who meet the following qualifications:
Mentors will meet the following qualifications:
- Has been a PSAI Operator member for at least 1 year
- Serving on a PSAI committee (preferred)
- Must be able to commit to attending mentor classes
- Is willing to grow and learn
- Has experience in one or more of the following skill sets:
- Operations: Customer Service, Routing, HR, Safety, Equipment Maintenance
- Business Acumen: Growing the Company, Multiple Product Lines, Accounting, Billing
- Marketing & Technology: Marketing, SEO, Google Ads
- Other: Cold Weather, Events, etc.
Mentees will meet the following qualifications:
- Is a current and active Operator member of PSAI
- Is willing to commit to regular meetings with mentor (parameters to be determined between mentor/mentee)
- Is willing to grow and learn
- Has an interest in learning more about one or more of the following skill sets:
- Operations: Customer Service, Routing, HR, Safety, Equipment Maintenance
- Business Acumen: Growing the Company, Multiple Product Lines, Accounting, Billing
- Marketing & Technology: Marketing, SEO, Google Ads
- Other: Cold Weather, Events, etc.
