Portable Sanitation & Work Sites
Program Description:
To be held Wednesday, August 5th from 2:00 – 3:30 PM CDT, this 90-minute course is designed to assist portable sanitation operators and their teams in growing their skills and confidence in serving work site customers.
Learning Objectives:
You will learn:
- How to differentiate needs and best practices for different types of work sites;
- What you need to know regarding special types of work sites such as federal installations, schools, and big box stores;
- Key considerations in determining the optimal number and types of portable units required for work sites;
- How to identify both ideal and acceptable placement configuration options at various work sites;
- Specific behaviors you should employ and those to avoid when placing, servicing, and picking up at work sites.
Participation Required:
This is a Virtual Training and is meant to be interactive. All attendees – especially those needing Professional Development / Continuing Education Credits – must participate in at least one of the following ways:
- Keeping their Camera on
- Typing in the Chat
- Un-muting and talking
If none of these options are available to you or your staff, please email Certifications@PSAI.org to request a special accommodation. Attendees who fail to engage using at least one of the methods above will not receive PDH/CE Credit.
Also Note: No recording of the program will be made available to attendees, though a session may be recorded for PSAI’s internal use only. Also, the training slide deck is the sole intellectual property of the PSAI and will not be available to attendees.
Continuing education:
- 1.5 Continuing Education Hours (CEH’s)
- PSAI Certificate of Completion automatically available for download in your Learning Center Profile after the program concludes.

- Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board – pending approval
- Georgia Department of Public Health – pending approval
- Illinois Department of Public Health – pending approval
- Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, & Energy – pending approval

- Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources – pending approval
