Steve Brodeur
About Steve Brodeur
I co-founded The Throne Depot in 2005 with a vision to raise the standard for portable sanitation by delivering quality products, reliable service, and an exceptional customer experience. While building the business, I worked a second job until 2011, when I was able to dedicate myself to the company full-time. Today, we’re proud to serve customers throughout New England and have built our reputation by focusing on service, innovation, and long-term relationships.
I joined the PSAI in 2006, and the association has played a significant role in both my professional growth and the success of our company. The education, networking, and willingness of fellow members to share their knowledge helped me navigate the challenges of building and growing a business. As our company has grown, I’ve been committed to giving back by participating on the PSAI Event Committee, facilitating roundtable discussions where members can openly share ideas, challenges, and best practices, and serving as a mentor through the Mentorship Program.
Before entering the portable sanitation industry, I gained experience in construction, sales, and several Silicon Valley start-ups. Those experiences shaped my practical, collaborative approach to problem-solving and strategic growth.
Outside of work, I believe in giving back by creating meaningful employment opportunities and supporting organizations including My Brother’s Keeper, the Boy Scouts, local Little League programs, and other charitable initiatives.
As a business owner who understands the challenges of starting, growing, and scaling a portable sanitation company, I’m committed to helping the PSAI continue to educate, connect, and advocate for members while strengthening our industry for the future.
Philip Elliott
About Philip Elliott
My wife, Garner, and I started Peachy Portable Potties in 2022 with one truck, 56 portable restrooms, and no previous experience in the portable sanitation industry. Today, Peachy has grown to more than 500 units with six full-time employees. We didn’t acquire an existing company or inherit a way of doing things. We built Peachy from the ground up, relying on our business experience, relationships, and a willingness to learn.
PSAI has been an important part of that journey. The education I’ve received at conferences has helped me become a better operator, but equally valuable have been the relationships I’ve developed with other operators. Their willingness to share experiences and knowledge has been invaluable as we’ve grown.
Before Peachy, I spent more than 20 years as an engineer in the construction industry. That experience allows me to bring a different perspective to the Board. I spent years as the customer of service companies and saw firsthand what great, and not-so-great, service looks like. I believe our industry grows stronger when we look at our businesses through the eyes of the customers we serve rather than simply accepting, “That’s how it’s always been done.”
I also want PSAI to continue expanding its value to smaller, independent operators, particularly those serving rural communities.
I often joke that I’ve never had the opportunity to be the smartest person in the room. I believe good leadership starts with listening. Everyone brings a valuable perspective, and when we listen to and learn from one another, we make better decisions and build a stronger industry.
James Millett
About James Millett
James Millett is an executive with Aspen Site Rentals, a rapidly growing North Texas portable sanitation and site services company built around responsive service, operational discipline, technology, and a strong customer experience. Aspen serves construction, industrial, municipal, and event customers with portable restrooms, luxury restroom trailers, handwashing and sanitation solutions, temporary fencing, dumpsters, and related site services.
As a hands-on operator, James brings practical experience in business development, fleet and route operations, customer service, safety, workforce development, technology, and strategic growth. He is especially interested in how better systems, data, training, and accountability can strengthen service quality and help operators build scalable, professional organizations.
James also has experience in construction, equipment, and real estate development, giving him a broad understanding of the customers and industries portable sanitation companies support every day. He holds an MBA from Texas Tech University and is a graduate of the TCU Ranch Management Program.
James seeks to serve on the PSAI Board to support member operators, expand practical education and best practices, and advance the professionalism and public perception of portable sanitation. He would bring an engaged operator’s perspective to the industry’s evolving workforce, safety, technology, regulatory, and growth challenges.
Danny Schaver
About Danny Schaver
My name is Danny Schaver, and I currently serve as Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience at PolyJohn. Over the past 13 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside portable sanitation operators across North America and around the world. One of the things I love most about this industry is the people. It’s built on relationships, hard work, and a willingness to help one another succeed, and that’s something I’ve always appreciated.
In my role at PolyJohn, I focus on marketing, customer experience, product development, and helping connect our teams to better serve our customers. I enjoy finding new ways to improve the customer experience, introduce innovative products, and help move our industry forward while never losing sight of the operators who make it all possible.
Serving on the PSAI Board has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to work with an outstanding group of board members who genuinely care about the future of our association and our industry. Together, we’ve worked to strengthen educational opportunities, improve member engagement, and ensure PSAI continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of our members.
I’m seeking re-election because I believe there’s still important work to do. I want to continue helping PSAI grow while staying true to what makes this association special. I’m passionate about creating more value for our members, supporting operators of every size, encouraging innovation, and ensuring PSAI remains the leading voice for the portable sanitation industry. It would be an honor to continue serving the membership and helping shape the future of an industry that has given so much to me.

Meet Our Board of Directors
The role of the PSAI Board of Directors is to provide strategic direction for the organization, supply oversight for the PSAI’s image and brand and ensure that financial controls are in place to ensure the long-term viability of the association.
PSAI Board members are volunteers who are committed to being an integral part of the organization’s leadership, direction and future. They show a level of dedication to the industry that goes above and beyond what is usual in a volunteer role.
Board members may be either portable restroom operators or suppliers whose companies are current members of the PSAI. They are nominated and elected by their peers to three-year terms in accordance with the bylaws of the PSAI. Officers are elected to serve one-year terms in their officer role.
The PSAI Board typically meets in person three times per year, convenes monthly via conference calls and reports to the full membership on the progress of the organization at the Annual Membership Meeting held at the Convention and Trade Show.
All PSAI members are welcome to attend open Board meetings. And if your company has been a PSAI member for a year or more, you are eligible to run for a spot on the Board.
